An additional survivor was pulled out of the Tianjin disaster zone Saturday as Chinese officials began evacuating the port area to clean up contamination by chemicals. The death toll from Wednesday’s blast has climbed to 104, while 720 people were injured and an unknown number of firefighters remain missing. Relatives of the firefighters disrupted a recent news conference demanding information on their loved ones. “[The authorities] didn’t notify us at all,” Liu Han, father of firefighter Liu Chuntao, told the Associated Press. “Our son is a firefighter, and there was a team of firefighters who lost contact. We couldn’t contact him.”
