The Chinese Communist Party has banned golf, gluttony, excessive drinking, and adultery as part of a new “moral ethical code that members must abide by.” The guidelines, which affect some 88 million members, also forbid nepotism and cliques. Some say the reforms are an effort to target President Xi Jinping’s opponents.
