Chinese Man Kills Eight

Another violent rampage has occurred in China: A man killed eight people this weekend in the country’s southeast region. Victims included his mother, wife, and daughter and the motive is not yet clear. Details from witnesses report the man killing his 10-year-old daughter and then turning on his 83-year-old mother, who was reportedly begging for her life. The man then attacked his wife and several others nearby. This recent attack is the latest in a disturbing trend involving multiple cases of mass violence including several attacks on school children. Security has been tightened at schools, but the country is still shaken from the violence.
