Chip, Joanna Gaines to Return to TV With Their Own Network

The design couple said they are “excited” for the new project after taking a break when their show Fixer Upper ended.

Chip and Joanna Gaines of Fixer Upper fame are returning to TV with their own branded network, the design couple has announced. The couple revealed the news on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon late Friday. “We signed a non-disclosure and it said, quote/unquote, you can tell your mother but that’s it,” Chip said. “So mom, I just wanted to make a quick announcement, we are coming back to television,” he said. He said they would be teaming up with Discovery to launch a new network, and Discovery confirmed the news on Saturday, according to Deadline. The couple’s Magnolia company issued a statement saying the couple was in the “early stages” of talks with Discovery for a new network that would be “lifestyle-focused.”
