It's been a week since R&B singer Chris Brown allegedly attacked his girlfriend, Rihanna, after a pre-Grammys party. Since then it seems every relative and friend of the (former?) couple has spoken out, but the singers themselves have been silent. Until now: Brown just released a statement: "Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God's help, to emerging a better person." The 19-year-old singer goes on to attack unnamed blogs for what he calls inaccurate reporting but makes no mention of Rihanna,who's said to be holed up in her native Barbados, by name. Over to you, Rihanna.
