Christie: Ease Up on Bridge Flap

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie called New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to complain that a Democratic appointee is being too nosy with an investigation of a bridge closure. Last September, a Port Authority official shut several lanes of the George Washington Bridge, snarling traffic in Fort Lee, New Jersey. Democrats say Christie’s appointee closed the lanes to punish Fort Lee’s Democratic mayor for not endorsing the Republican for reelection. The controversy has already claimed the job of one Christie appointee, who quit the Port Authority last week.
