New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has agreed to appear in court over a citizen’s complaint of misconduct in his handling of the infamous lane closures on the George Washington Bridge in 2013. According to documents filed in New Jersey Superior Court on Monday, and reported Wednesday by multiple outlets, Christie will appear in court on November 23. The governor has repeatedly denied any participation in the scandalous e’s former aides are currently on trial for their role in the scandal.
