And the midterm elections live on: Feds are currently investigating former Delaware Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell to determine if she misused campaign funds to pay for personal expenses, according to a source close to the probe. Two federal prosecutors and two FBI agents in Delaware are said to be working on the case. O’Donnell set a state record by raising $7.3 million—most of it from Tea Party supporters. Former staffers for the conservative star have alleged that O'Donnell used campaign funds to pay for personal expenses, such as rent and groceries—nevermind the payroll funds paid out to O'Donnell's own mother. Campaign spokesman Matt Moran rebutted the charges, saying they seem "politically motivated and may well be tied to the ultra-liberal, George Soros-financed, former Sen. Biden staffer-run CREW [Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington] complaint."
