Just in time for the holidays: DigiTimes says Google will launch netbooks running on a Chrome-based operating system this month, including its own brand netbook that it will sell online, similar to the ill-fated Nexus One smartphone. DigiTimes says Google’s netbook is being built by Inventec and the first shipment will be between 60,000 and 70,000 computers. H-P and Acer will follow with new netbooks in December.
