CIA Building Attacked in Kabul

A building used by the CIA in Kabul was attacked on Sunday. Authorities said that gunfire was heard near the Ariana Hotel, which former U.S. intelligence officials said was the CIA station in Kabul. U.S. officials confirmed the attack on a building used by American officials, and Afghan officials told the BBC that one attacker was killed. One anonymous official said, “The situation is fluid, and the investigation is ongoing.” The attack comes two weeks after an attack on the U.S. Embassy in Kabul.
