The CIA is set to return to Osama bin Laden's compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, within days, U.S. officials have confirmed, after Pakistan agreed to let the agency conduct a second search. Since the Navy SEALs had only 40 minutes during the first raid to gather materials, the CIA wanted to go back and "do another, more thorough, look" for traces of continuing al Qaeda operations. Pakistan has granted the special forensics team permission to use equipment to look for materials inside walls or buried in the compound grounds. Pakistan will also allow the U.S. team to compare notes with Pakistani forces and will work with the country's spy agency to examine the materials Pakistanis recovered from the compound.
