The Citadel is investigating images of cadets in white hoods that have been circulating on social media. The images were uploaded to Snapchat, and shared to Facebook by a woman who does not attend the South Carolina military academy. The cadets claimed they were dressed as ghosts singing Christmas carols for a “Ghosts of Christmas Past” skit. In a statement, the school’s president said the students have been suspended, and that the images are “not consistent with our core values of honor, duty, and respect.”
