One of the older suspects in the investigation of the gang rape of an 11-year-old girl from Cleveland, Texas, has been charged. Walter Jamal Harrison, 26, turned himself in after seeing his picture on the Liberty County sheriff’s office “10 most wanted” website. He’s being charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child. He’s the 19th suspect, who range in age from a middle-school student to a 27-year-old man. The victim was assaulted repeatedly over a three-month period, and an investigation was launched after videos of her rape went viral in the school district.
