Clinton, Bush to Meet with Obama Today

Bill Clinton and George W. Bush will visit their former home today as Barack Obama hosts the two former presidents at the White House to discuss relief efforts in Haiti. No details have emerged about what Clinton and Bush are planning, but the move recalls President Bush's deployment of Clinton and his father, President George H.W. Bush, to assist in recovery operations in New Orleans and Indonesia. After the meeting, Bush will give his first TV interview since leaving office, alongside Clinton. The topic is limited to Haiti. At the same time, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will head down to Haiti accompanied by Dr. Rajiv Shah, chief of USAID, to meet with Haitian President Rene Preval and other Haitian government officers.
