Clinton: Merkel is Best European Leader

Hillary Clinton apparently really likes Angela Merkel or just loves messing with the Obama administration. While speaking in Berlin on Sunday during a promotional tour for her book Hard Choices, Clinton said that the German chancellor is “the greatest leader in Europe." She added Merkel “carried Europe on her shoulders, and it wasn't easy.” Merkel and Obama have had a somewhat awkward history since it was made evident last year that the NSA had spied on her phone calls. Clinton also said that Merkel is a model for U.S. political leadership and shows "we are ready for a woman to break through the glass ceiling.” Though Clinton refused to state whether she'd be running for president in 2016, everyone knew exactly what she meant by that comment.
