CNN chief Jeff Zucker on Thursday fired back at President Trump, who, over the past several days, took multiple shots at the cable-news network. “We should boycott Fake News CNN. Dealing with them is a total waste of time!” read one recent tweet from Trump. Presented with such tweets during the 2017 Ignition conference in New York, Zucker responded: “He’s a terrible media critic.” Further asked if he believes the AT&T merger with CNN’s parent company, Time Warner, will ultimately be approved in light of political pressures from the Trump White House, Zucker said: “It’s not something, frankly, I spend any time thinking about.”
