The two eventually flagged down a Coast Guard officer who brought them back to their starting point. “It wasn’t really a rescue,” said the officer. “Really, more of just giving someone a lift.” Whatever it was, Crowe was appreciative, tweeting, “Thanks to Seth and the boys from the U.S. Coast Guard for guiding the way,” while also insisting, “We knew exactly where we were, padding around from csh into wind, we ran out of day. Grand adventure eh.”
