American teen tennis standout Coco Gauff reached her first Grand Slam quarterfinals by romping Ons Jabeur from Turkey 6-3, 6-1 in 53 minutes— making her the youngest woman to reach this level since Nicole Vaidisova in 2006. The 17-year old won the junior French Open in 2018 and said she was “super happy to reach my first Grand Slam quarterfinal. I played really well today.” Gauff will play against Czech Barbora Krejcikova in the next round.
