Joel and Ethan Coen are finally coming to television. After blessing Noah Hawley's FX adaptation of their 1996 film Fargo, the Coen brothers are creating an anthology series of their own for Netflix titled The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, premiering in 2018. According to a press release, the "Western anthology will feature six tales about the American frontier" and each chapter will "feature a distinct story about the American West." Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother, Where Art Thou?) is set to star as Buster. “We are streaming motherfuckers!,” Joel and Ethan Coen said in a joint statement.
