Colorado School Closed After Body Found

The body of a high-school student was found at a Colorado school on Monday, prompting a police investigation and the temporary suspension of classes. Colorado Springs police say they are investigating the death as a possible suicide at The Classical Academy campus. The campus is home to an elementary school, junior high, and high school. The name of the deceased has not been released. School President Russ Sojourner released a statement saying the death was unexpected. “It is with a very heavy heart that I convey sad news about a tragedy that has affected our TCA school community,” he said. “A TCA High School student has passed away unexpectedly.” Classes will resume Tuesday.
