As a gaggle of journalists and cameramen—including The Daily Beast—descended upon him, he admitted that his name was Brodkins, but did not say he was a notorious prankster. Instead, he claimed he had been asked to give the note to May by Boris Johnson, Britain’s ambitious foreign secretary.
