The strangest Donald Rumsfeld interview ever? On the Opie and Anthony show Thursday, the former defense secretary fielded the following question from comedian Louis C.K.: “Are you a lizard?” Rumsfeld held his own in the interview, chuckling at the comedian’s questions, but he refused to answer the lizard query. C.K told the show’s hosts, Gregg Hughes and Anthony Cumia, he would stop asking “the second I get a denial”—but Rumsfeld held strong and refused to ever say deny it, instead saying, “I did not just arrive in town, falling off a turnip truck.” On a more serious note, Louis C.K. also asked Rumsfeld what it was like to meet Saddam Hussein, “that man who was later hanged in a badly lit room,” which Rumsfeld answered seriously, calling Hussein a “thug.”
