Comey Comes Out of the Shadows With Verified Twitter Account
The former FBI chief had used a pseudonym.

Former FBI Director James Comey formally revealed his identity on Twitter Monday morning, changing his handle to @Comey and acknowledging that he had controlled the mysteriously named @FormerBu account. The ex-FBI chief gave hints in recent weeks via the Twitter page, but the account has now been officially verified by the platform, signaling its legitimacy. “Here’s my new handle. Glad to be part of the Twitterverse. Grateful to Reinhold for the cover these last few years,” Comey tweeted, referring to the account’s pseudonym, Reinhold Niebuhr, which was revealed by a reporter earlier this year.
