The great Boise condiment mystery may finally be solved: Police have arrested a 74-year-old woman for dumping mayonnaise into her local library’s book drop, the latest in a string of condiment-related crimes in the area. Joy L. Cassidy was arrested after she pulled through the drive-through and dumped a jar of mayo into the box for reading materials. Police said she is under investigation for 10 related crimes, including pouring ketchup and corn syrup in the library drop box. She has been charged with a misdemeanor, no motive was given.
