The BlackBerry outage earlier this month is proving to be quite a headache for Research in Motion. Not only are phone users switching to iPhones, some are suing the company. Consumers in the U.S. and Canada have sued for the four-day disruption in email service, filing suit on behalf of all BlackBerry owners in the countries. The suits accuse Research in Motion of breach of contract, negligence, and unjust enrichment. The U.S. suit, filed in California, claims RIM makes $3.4 million per day in service revenue.
