Contagion could very well be contagious. Director Steven Soderbergh's pandemic thriller pulled in $23.1 million in its debut to win the weekend box-office race. The star-studded movie beat out The Help after the hit was bumped down to No. 2 after 25 days. It still raked in $8.7 million over the weekend. Notable flops included Warrior, starring Tom Hardy, and the Adam Sandler–produced Bucky Larson.
