Wisconsin prosecutors have charged a former school board member with election fraud, a week after he suddenly resigned. Authorities say John Harter—who last made headlines in the fall for referring to “colored students” at a meeting—lied about where he was living when he ran for election in the Hartland-Lakeside district last year. The 28-year-old faces three misdemeanors that carry up to six months in prison, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
