An Anaheim, California, police officer who has shot three suspects since January 2012 has been cleared for a third time. The district attorney’s office said the most recent shooting had been justified. In September 2014, Nick Bennallack and five other officers were involved in the fatal shooting of Steen Thomas Parker, who police said opened fire on the cops after a robbery. A report said the officers “were justified in believing that Parker posed a significant threat of death or serious physical injury to their partners and themselves.”
