According to documents released Friday by the Santa Clara County Superior Court, police suspect convicted rapist Brock Turner took a photograph of his victim’s breast and sent it to friends via a group-messaging app. The Daily Mail reports that even though police extracted Turner’s phone following his arrest, they were unable to recover the photograph because it had been deleted in the app and was not stored on the phone. Shortly after Turner’s arrest, the documents state, detectives noticed a message on his phone from swimming teammate Justin Buck, asking, “Whos tit is that” [sic]. Witnesses also testified that they had seen Turner standing over his 23-year-old victim with his iPhone flashlight turned on.
