Local police have identified those responsible for a repugnant Ice Bucket Challenge trick that involved dumping feces and urine on an Ohio teen with autism, according to the boy’s lawyer. “I know police have a very good handle on the investigation. Everyone’s pretty much been identified,” said attorney Dean Valore. The video of the cruel trick showed an underside to the viral meme. Bay Village police did not comment, though they said those responsible for the attack would probably face delinquency charges. Drew Carey had offered $10,000 as a reward for identifying the teens as the disturbing story circulated across the Web, and other celebrities followed with similar offers. While identifying the perpetrators is good news, it doesn’t rectify the damage of the attack. The victim is “pretty scarred and pretty damaged,” said Valore. “He thought they were his friends.”
