Police teams and tech bloggers don’t often cross paths, but throw a secret iPhone in the mix and anything can happen. A week after Gizmodo posted the details of Apple’s fourth-generation smartphone, California police raided the home of its editor, Jason Chen, on Friday. Detectives left with four computers, a digital camera, and several external hard drives, as they looked for evidence linked to the lost iPhone. The phone was supposedly left in a bar in March by an Apple employee and subsequently bought by Gizmodo for $5,000 from the person who found it.
