Well this is a twist. Police in Ecorse, Michigan say they believe an 18-year-old faked her own kidnapping and then cut herself to make it more realistic before she was found. Hayley Marie Turner turned up 50 miles away from her home after disappearing on Thursday. Investigators grew suspicious when she couldn't give details about her abductor and showed cut marks only in one area. “My frustration level was very high,” the police chief said. “We are a cash-strapped city ... and this cost us quite a bit of money." Turner could face felony charges for lying to the police.
