Three teens in Arizona were arrested Sunday after they were accused of throwing and slinging rocks at cars and pedestrians in a manner that was a “copycat” of a recent spate of shootings. The real shooting began on Aug. 29, when a bullet injured a 13-year-old girl in an SUV on the freeway. There have been at least 11 shootings that have been reported along an eight-mile stretch of Interstate 10 in Phoenix. Investigators say it’s unclear whether the incidents are all connected.
