Coronavirus Cases in China Spike Again; Deaths Pass 900 Mark

China reported another 97 coronavirus deaths on Sunday, pushing the total above 900. And in other worrisome news, the number of new infections increased, suggesting the outbreak may not yet have peaked on the mainland. More than 40,000 people have been afflicted with the virus, which originated in an animal market in Wuhan and has spread around the globe, with 360-plus cases identified outside China.
