'Now I'm Blushing'

Cory Booker DM'ed a Stripper

...and it was a girl.

Kudos to Newark super-mayor Cory Booker, who can save humans from burning buildings, befriend Matt Damon and Ben Affleck—and score the affections of a vegan stripper from Portland, Oregon. On Wednesday BuzzFeed introduced us to Lynsie Lee, a Bookerphile who, along with the mayor, was featured in Follow Friday the Film, a movie about Twitter. Booker follows Lee on Twitter; she follows him too. On Wednesday Lee put her crush on blast by tweeting a screenshot of her direct-message conversation with the mayor, who wrote to her, “And the East Coast loves you and by the East Coast, I mean me.” “Well now I'm blushing,” replied Lee, who threw in a smiley face. Booker’s reply? “It’s only fair.” Lee told BuzzFeed that Booker was only “flattering” her in response to her tweet that said the West Coast, especially Lee, loves him.
