Cory Monteith Cremated in Canada

On Tuesday, Glee star Cory Monteith was cremated after his family and girlfriend, Lea Michele, held a private viewing of his body at a hospital in Vancouver, Canada. According to TMZ, Monteith’s father, Joe, was not informed of the plans for his son’s body, and is “totally devastated” that he didn’t get to say goodbye. Monteith’s parents are divorced and the once-troubled star’s remains were given to his mother, who made the decision to cremate him. “I always loved both my sons and am going to miss Cory very, very much,” his father told TMZ. “I’m saddened at the fact that I couldn’t have been there to see my son before he was cremated.”
