A 2005 police interview with Andrea Constand, one of Bill Cosby’s accusers, made public Thursday addressed one of issues raised by the comedian’s lawyers about the delay in reporting the alleged sex crime. “There was an element of fear,” Constand said at the time. “Before I was going to say anything to anyone, I had to put my own thoughts and feelings together.” She said later that she wanted to ask Cosby about what happened. “I just wanted to confront him about it and ask some questions,” she said. Prosecutors used excerpts of the document last month as evidence that Cosby should be held for trial.
