The defense in Bill Cosby’s sexual-assault trial rested Monday after calling upon only one witness. Both sides gave their closing arguments Monday, with the comedian declining to testify in his own defense. Det. Richard Schaffer served as the only witness for Cosby’s defense. The actor arrived to the courthouse Monday with his wife, Camille, by his side for the first time during the trial. He has previously arrived at the courthouse with various friends, including his former The Cosby Show co-star Keshia Knight Pulliam.
