Cosby Lawyer: Accuser Is Lying Criminal

Sixteen women say they were raped.

Bill Cosby attorney Martin Singer slammed the numerous accusations of sexual assault against his client, saying the comedian has been the victim of a “media-driven feeding frenzy.” And he released the criminal record of one of Cosby’s alleged victims, Linda Joy Traitz, which includes charges of criminal fraud and possession of several drugs, including cocaine, Oxycodone, and marijuana. “People are coming out the woodwork with fabricated or unsubstantiated stories about my client,” Singer said in a lengthy statement. “This continued pattern of attacks has entered the realm of the ridiculous.” The statement came shortly after three new accusers came forward Thursday claiming Cosby assaulted them years ago, including Lou Ferrigno’s wife Carla Ferrigno, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest actress Louisa Moritz, and Florida nurse Therese Serignese.
