A Cougar Town star may soon be back on the market: Courteney Cox and her husband, actor David Arquette, have split up, according to several reports Monday. “The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage,” the couple said in a joint statement. “We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply.” Although TMZ reports the cause of the split was a photo of Arquette with another woman “with whom he has been intimate,” the couple reportedly agreed to a trial separation “that dates back for some time.” Despite living apart, one source said there is a “real possibility” they could get back together and called the marriage “a work in progress.” The couple has one 6-year-old daughter, Coco.
