Courteney Cox: We’re Not Getting Divorced

Courteney Cox has made her first public statement about her split from her husband of 11 years, David Aqruette. The actress told TVWeek that she has no plans to make their separation permanent. "I don't know what will happen, but this is not like we're getting divorced," Cox explained. "This is a separation and I think that takes a lot of courage… Sometimes you just realize 'Wow, we actually have grown apart.’" Rumors of the couple’s divorce began after Arquette appeared on the Howard Stern show last month, revealing the details of their separation—the actor told the audience that he and his wife were not having sex for a long period of time, but later apologized for his comments. Cox, who currently stars on Cougar Town, told TVWeek that her husband is a “kook.” She added, "I'm sure the people who listen to the radio are entertained by his stories.” The two have made steps at reconciling and spent Halloween together this past weekend with their 6-year-old daughter, Coco.
