Eight-year-old George Carter was trampled to death by a cow on his family’s farm in Georgetown, Massachusetts on Saturday. He and his father Peter, were tending to the cows in preparation for an upcoming fair when George got tangled in a rope tied to a cow. The boy got dragged around the yard and Peter Carter tried to wrestle the animal to free his son from its grasp. His 3-year-old daughter saw the incident as it took place but the father is trying to find a way to explain what happened.
