Crazed Actor Slashes Own Mother

With ceremonial freemasonry sword.

Neighbors called the police after Michael Brea was heard screaming “repent!” and Masonic references at his mother, Yannick, but authorities arrived too late for the 55-year-old woman. Brea, an actor who has appeared in Ugly Betty and Step Up 3D, was found in the Brooklyn apartment the two shared, wielding a ceremonial freemasonry sword and standing in a trail of blood that led to his slain mother. “When I looked at my mother, I saw the devil,” Brea reportedly said. He was subdued and taken Bellevue Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
