The former governor of Connecticut is so dirty that he’s been sent to prison for the second time in a decade. John Rowland was sentenced to 30 months in prison Wednesday after being convicted of conspiracy to break federal campaign-finance laws by trying to conceal his role as a paid consultant to a congressional candidate in 2012. Rowland, a Republican, previously spent a year in prison after he was convicted in 2005 of taking $107,000 in gifts and services from businessmen who won contracts and tax breaks from his administration.
