Police are still searching for five men who held a Connecticut family hostage during a robbery late Sunday night and early Monday morning. According to police, five masked gunmen broke at random into the North Branford home of the Martone family, tied up three family members, and ransacked the house in search of valuables. The suspects reportedly left a 3-year-old grandchild unharmed, though after he woke up they allegedly threatened to kidnap him. The suspects reportedly fled after a few hours, and the family called 911 from the home of a neighboring relative. The five gunmen are still at large, and the family’s stolen pickup truck was found nearby.
