Benedict Cumberbatch, who has become a global sensation and cultural phenomenon since he gained renown in Sherlock, says he deals with the “nonsense” of his current fame by sketching, having normal interactons with friends, and spending time in nature. The actor was asked in an interview on the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show how he deals with craziness such as fans sleeping outside the hotels where he stays. As part of his response, he noted that he draws. “I do a little bit of pen and ink, but canvas work has been a little while off; I need the space and a bit more time.... But yeah, I love sketching still, really love that.” The actor recently became engaged to girlfriend Sophie Hunter.
