An Arizona court has found Faleh Hassan Almaleki, an Iraqi immigrant, guilty of murdering his daughter Noor in what appears to be an honor killing. He ran Noor down with his car as she met with her boyfriend’s mother. Almaleki apparently said she had shamed the family by leaving her husband in Iraq to live with her boyfriend in Arizona. He faces between 17 and 44 years in prison.
