We are proud to announce that on Wednesday afternoon The Daily Beast's Moscow-based reporter Anna Nemtsova was given the prestigious Courage in Journalism Award from the International Women’s Media Foundation. At a gala in Midtown Manhattan, hosted by Cynthia McFadden and Norah O’Donnell, Nemtsova accepted the honor and spoke about her fearless reporting from Russia, Ukraine, and the Chechnyan conflict zone.
