Yesterday Newt Gingrich lamented the fact that his "idea-driven" campaign is not working in the 2012 environment. Today we're wondering if there's some truth in that.

“We are at the edge of such extraordinary opportunities and it is so hard to get this party to understand it,” said Gingrich. “Our political system is so methodically and deliberately stupid."
