Time to say good morning to Dan Abrams. The former MSNBC host and NBC legal analyst is joining ABC’s Good Morning America as a legal analyst and substitute weekend anchor, Abrams and ABC News president Ben Sherwood announced Monday. The reason for the move, a source told TVNewser, was that Abrams, who also founded the website Mediate, wanted to be able to contribute more than just legal pieces. The move also reunites Abrams with Sherwood, who Abrams worked with at NBC Nightly News. Abrams’ first broadcast will be Tuesday.
